Amy Kruse

Experience: Amy has over 15 years of experience developing and executing marketing and communications strategies for mission-driven organizations. She has held roles across nonprofits, higher education institutions, and public media, most recently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Near East Foundation, an INGO operating across the Middle East, Africa, and Armenia. Whether supporting programs abroad or in the U.S., her work focuses on ensuring communications strategies strengthen and align with organizational goals.

Throughout her career, Amy has built comprehensive communications strategies, content plans, and the supporting infrastructure organizations need to operate efficiently and effectively. She develops and updates brand systems, including style guides, editorial standards, messaging frameworks, content calendars, protocols, and asset libraries, ensuring all external communications are aligned, intentional, and authentic.

Education:  An M.S. in Communications from Syracuse University, S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a B.S. in English/Communications from Le Moyne College
