Sami Iwata
Experience: Sami has 20+ years of experience leading teams and developing products and services across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Her experience includes higher-education publishing at Pearson, design strategy at Frog Design, nonprofit marketing at NatureBridge, and software product management at Adobe Systems.
Most recently, as a FUSE Corps Executive Fellow, Sami joined the staff at the Human Rights Commission (HRC) in the City and County of San Francisco. As part of the HRC’s Office of Racial Equity, she provided technical assistance to SF departments on their Racial Equity Action Plans and led research into SF’s first Racial Equity Index.
Education: Sami holds a Master of Business Adminstration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University. She is also a trained personal coach.

Equilibrium is: Spending time in nature on land and water, meditation and sangha, cooking for family and friends, volunteering in her community, and exploring the Pacific Northwest and beyond with her family.
